Boreal Apothecary – Customer-Generated Content Program

Real customers. Real bathrooms. Real products.

At Boreal Apothecary, we believe the best content comes from the people who actually use our products. While we’re busy manufacturing everything in-house, we’re inviting customers to help us show Boreal Apothecary in real life — and get rewarded for it.

This program is open to customers across Canada and may lead to invitation into our Content Creator or Ambassador programs.

 

How the Customer Content Program Works

  1. Customers may submit up to 10 original photos or short video clips featuring Boreal Apothecary products.

  2. Our team will review all submissions.

  3. If we select at least 4 pieces of content for use, you will receive your reward.

  4. Selected contributors may be invited to submit again or move into a higher-tier program.

Rewards (Chosen by Boreal Apothecary)

If your content is selected, you will receive one of the following:

  • $17 Boreal Apothecary store credit

  • OR one free full-size product (our choice)

Rewards are issued digitally and are non-transferable. No cash payouts.

 

Content Guidelines (Please Read Carefully)

To be considered, content must meet the following standards:

Content Must Be:

  • Original content created by you

  • Well-lit and in focus

  • Clean and uncluttered

  • True to product colour and appearance

  • Clearly feature Boreal Apothecary products

Content Can Include:

  • Bath scenes (clean water, neutral lighting preferred)

  • Shower or sink setups

  • Flat-lay product photos

  • Lifestyle shots (self-care moments, shelving, counters, tubs)

  • Short vertical video clips (Reels-style encouraged)

Content Must NOT Include:

  • Medical or therapeutic claims

  • Before/after claims

  • Children or minors in baths

  • Nudity or explicit content

  • Other brands or competing products

  • Heavy filters that distort colour

  • Logos or watermarks

Submissions that don’t meet these guidelines will not be used.

Submission Requirements

  • Files must be uploaded via the link provided (Google Drive / Dropbox / Form)

  • File naming format:
    FirstName_Product_Type_Date
    (Example: Amanda_BathBomb_Photo_Jan2026)

  • Photos must be high resolution

  • Videos should be under 30 seconds where possible

Usage Rights & Permissions

By submitting content, you agree that:

  • Boreal Apothecary may use selected photos or videos for marketing purposes, including social media, website content, email marketing, and advertising.

  • Credit will be given where possible but is not guaranteed.

  • Boreal Apothecary is not required to use all submitted content.

  • Submission does not guarantee selection or compensation.  

  • By submitting content, you grant Boreal Apothecary a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, edit, publish, and display the content in any format for marketing and promotional purposes, including on our website, social media, email marketing, and advertising.

    This permission cannot be revoked once the content has been selected and used.

  • You retain ownership of your original content.

Moving Beyond Customer Content

Customers who consistently submit high-quality, on-brand content may be invited to:

  • Content Creator Tier (monthly product for content exchange)

  • Ambassador Program (commission + content + perks)

Invitations are sent privately. There is no public application at this time.

This program is designed to:

  • Support real customers

  • Keep Boreal Apothecary authentic

  • Avoid influencer-style pressure

  • Reward creativity fairly
