Gua Sha Stones

Gua Sha is a ancient traditional Chinese healing technique. A smooth edge tool usually made from stone, metal or horn. It is used to gently scrape areas of the body, either long or short strokes. It is a natural alternative therapy to improve circulation.

In cultural tradition, Gua Sha is to address stagnant energy from chi that is believed to cause inflammation. The technique can be per performed on an individuals, back, buttocks, neck, arms, legs, and some specific and gentle techniques for the face.

Individuals on blood, thinners, or with clotting disorders are not good candidates for Gua Sha.
